Lately I have been feeling run down. It might have something to do with 3 kids that refuse to sleep the entire night and in their own beds. It may be the crappy food I have been eating lately.. I don’t know. What I do know is that I am in pain (stupid fybromyalgia), I am tired all the time, and I am really not in the mood to do anything.
I would be overjoyed to spend an entire day (or days…) in bed sleeping. But that just isn’t going to happen. There is just to much stuff to do. So I have decided I am going to try to get healthier.
I am having a hard time loosing the baby weight this time. Since I have stopped breastfeeding I have actually gained weight. So I have decided to give the popular Shaklee 180 a try for one month. I am using it as a way to reset sort of speak. I am horrible at eating breakfast, and often miss lunch. I think if I can have something quick, then I might be more inclined to have something.
I have also decided to try oil pulling. After three back to back pregnancies and a family history of bad teeth, my teeth are in bad shape. Anything I can do that will help the health of my mouth is a bonus. I started that yesterday, the Shaklee still needs to be ordered.
I have also started taking something called Bio Strath. I have only been taking it for a few days, but I think it has helped. I don’t feel as sluggish and I have managed to ward off the cold (so far) that is making its rounds around the house.
The last part in this equation is exercise. I am horrible at actually regularly exercising. I walk from school everyday which is a 20 to 30 minute walk, then there is the pushing the kids around, so I do get some… but I know I need to do some extra. When I figure that out I will let you know.
So that is my plan.. Once I get my Shaklee I will put some stats up on the blog. I was to share my journey to a healthier me, perhaps blogging will keep me motivated.
