I have been meaning to write this post for months now, and as I sit here completely annoyed by the shipping company because they are taking DAYS to deliver my newest box, I figured it is a great time to tell you all what I think about FairyLoot.

FairyLoot ReviewI have always love the idea of subscription boxes.. I have really really wanted an Owlcreate box, however being located in Europe the shipping and the taxes that go along with with make it just too expensive to bother. Then, one day while scrolling Instagram for Mini Backdrops, I found FairyLoot, and British based subscription box.

I might have done a happy dance that day. I was beyond excited, so naturally I bought a single box to check it out and see if it was something I would really like. This is what that first box looked like:

A candle, a ring, a necklace, bookmark and other great things all made by small businesses. The book was Metaltown (affiliate link), which I really enjoyed reading (review coming soon). I think my favorite thing other than the book in this box was the candle from Meraki Candles, seriously, it smelt so good. I was more than happy with my loot from this box. I unfortunately couldn’t get the box that followed this one, however, after being utter disappointed that I didn’t get that box, I signed myself up for a 3 month subscription.

My next box that arrived was their December box, and again it did not disappoint:

Again, so many good items! Special socks… who doesn’t love socks. Also some art prints that I loved and are now hanging on my wall. Perhaps my favorite thing from this box was the Funko POP Star Wars: Episode 7 – Princess Leia Action Figure (affiliate link). This is my first Funko Pop, and it is kind of special for obvious reasons..

The book included in this box was Flashfall (affiliate link), which I have only just began to read, but already it has grabbed me and I am looking forward to finishing it.

What I love about the FairyLoot Subscription box, is the little details included.

For example, the box has a story printed on the inside of it, and a quote on the front of it. You can see that they have put a lot of thought in the details. And I love that. They do an awesome job choosing the items to be included in the box, and I have loved everything I have received so far. There always seems to be little extras as well. Overall I would totally recommend this book to anyone who loves young adult lit, and loves to read books that are leaning more towards the fantasy genre. Although they are based in the UK, they ship worldwide.

If you are interested, I would recommend that you follow them either by Instagram or Facebook. They often provide a coupon code on their social media.
