Well, it is almost the 3rd week into 2019.
I figured it was time for another update. I usually do some sort of post about the year-end and what I hope for the new year. I am glad to let 2018 be in the past. It was full of ups and some very downs. I am determined to make 2019 better
We spend Christmas and the New Year just as a family. It was very much needed and it was nice and relaxed.

I did my best to do as little work as possible. I wasn’t able to escape it 100%, but I did’nt spend the entire 2-week break working either. So I would say 2018 ended on a good note. I even managed to read a couple of books!
The new year also started well, other than
The girls got to go for a ride in the little forest, and spent the day with me helping at the farm.

They enjoyed this a lot, and I hope to do this more with them. Unfortuantly our car broke this past week, so both girls missed their first riding lesson of the year, and may miss it again this week. But I will try and make it up to them with more time at the farm. They are both capable enough to ride where I just walk beside them, so it is something we can easily do again.
Speaking of riding and horses and things…
It is now more common knowledge that I am working at Den Hele Ekvipage Horse Center as the business manager. So I will be doing a lot of work at the stable and the riding school. I also re-opened Mini Backdrops in November.
So 2019 will see me being super woman, managing a family, and building two PROFITABLE businesses.
Really, that sounds a bit insane…
And a good recipe for burnout…
But my mind is set. I have made myself a schedule.. and if I sick to it I should be able to manage it all. But because of all the madness and business running, I have set a personal goal for myself as well. To read AND WRITE about one book a month. I have been taking the time to read again the last couple of months, and it is a great mental break for me. I am going to try and prioritize getting at least 20 – 30 minutes of reading in a day. That should be manageable… right?
So there is my update. Here is hoping 2019 is much better then the last previous years!
